Career
History:
Justin Petcosky's racing career began when he
was 7 years old. He raced Microd and Openwheel cars.
Justin actually won his very first race! While
racing Microds and Openwheels, he earned many first
place wins and championships.
At the age of 14, he began to race a legend car. The
first year, Justin placed 7th in his division and
won "Rookie of the Year."
At the age of 15, Justin won championships at the
two local tracks, the same year Justin also was
awarded "the Most Popular Driver" and
"The Most Improved Driver." He was also
the "New York State Semi-Pro Champion."
The 2005 season started very well. Justin was racing
every week at Lake Erie Speedway, unfortunately
Justin sustained an injury in a wreck that prevented
him from racing.
In 2006 Justin raced every week at Chemung Speedrome.
After a very successful season Justin finished 2nd
in the seasons points.
In 2007 Justin started out with a rocky start. But
after the first couple of weeks he gained spots in
the points at Chemung and Spencer . After many wins
Justin quickly gained the points lead and stayed
there. With a total of 9 wins this season Justin won
the Chemung Speedrome Championship, Spencer Speedway
Championship, and The New York State Pro
Championship.
Justin is looking forward to the 2008 season. |
