Speedrome Legends Recap 7/9/10

Alcaro knows his way around the Speedrome. Friday
night he had to go from 10th to 1st, and he did so
in just 8 laps. This one took 2 attempts to get
going when Brandon Michael and Andrew Stotler got
together on the opening lap. Van Michael led the
way early with Richie Vanderpool in pursuit. Justin
Petcosky, running 3rd, tapped Vanderpool who
spun and collected AJ Griffin. Petcosky pitted
with a flat right front but made it back out just
as the green flag flew. Alcaro, who moved up to
2nd for the restart, won the drag race to turn 1
and the race was his. Two other cautions slowed
the action, but over the final few laps Matt
Priscott and Petcosky were closing in on
Vanderpool. When it was over Alcaro had his 8th
win. Vanderpool finished 2nd, followed by
Truesdail, Priscott and Petcosky.
